Behold the Octopus Chair:

Spanish designer Maximo Riera likes to design chairs that exhibit animal forms. The designer’s Rhino Chair, Walrus Chair and Octopus Chair, part of the Animal Chair collection, are equally interesting mainly because of the unexpected nature (no pun intended) of the chairs’ forms. The series of three sculptural furniture pieces retain the vitality of the animals which they represent – Riera ensured the animals’ biology and appearances were as realistic as possible. Reira is currently working on additional pieces for his Animal Chair collection.
